OIS vs det norske skolesystemet

Vi har dratt til Oslo International School på Bekkestua for å interveiwet studentene om hva de syntes om den norske systemet i forhold til den internasjonale,de fleste sa at de er veldig glad i skolen sin og systemet, men innrømte at det var litt tungvint none ganger. Her hører vi Prinsesse Ingrid Alexandra av Norge (14) sine meninger og svar.

What is your impression on the Norwegian school compared to the international?

«It’s a lot more demanding because the school teaches more advanced things that you at Norwegian school don’t learn until highschool.»

What is ur personal opinion on the school u are currently attending?

«It’s a lot better school but there is a lot of pressure on the students. A lot of stress but there is a good environment.»

Would u recommend your school over the Norwegian and why?

«It depends if you like school and you want to study then this is the school for you.»

Would your switch to the Norwegian system why/why not? «I will switch because of the school system seems easier and better.»

Som sagt var de fleste fornøyde med skolen sin. I tillegg har de fått et ganske dårlig inntrykk på oss som går på den norske skolen. Her får vi høre hva slags intrykk de fleste har av oss. Liv Kobberstad (16) :

«The norwegian school seems to have less work in general and seems to be a little less challenging than international»

Lea Bergvoll (13) :

«The international is more social and has more academic.»

Isabell Richards (14) :

«My impression is that there are a lot more people and more parties.»

Ida Mari Sahlin (15) :

«Ok my impression of Norwegian school is that some people rly try to get good grades and they actually care but then others are there to just have fun and they don’t pay attention in class of anyhting like that Also the classes are really big which makes it hard for the teachers to teach the student.»

Selom majoriteten syntes skolen vår er veldig lett så har ganske mange lyst til å bytte til den norskesystemet før videregående. På den internasjonale skolen har de IB isteden for videregående. IB er en mer advansert og vanskeligere versjon av videregående med en prioritet med å gjøre deg klar for universitetet.
